Its that time of year again…summer has gone and the days of hanging clothes on the line are less and less ( for me at least). The yard work is yet to be done and I am sure you will find yourself raking leaves soon and cleaning up before old man winter arrives.
Make sure to check your outside dryer vent and insure that it remains clear of lint and the flapper is moving freely. If neglected the accumulated lint will retain moisture which in turn could freeze during the cold months, thus restricting the dryer air flow. This will lead to longer drying times and even worse affect your dryers elements or components of the dryers heating system.
